Who Was Muhammad ﷺ?
وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
We sent you not but as a mercy to all the worlds. (Quran 21:107)

Who was Muhammad ﷺ? An orphan turned final Prophet who taught the worship of one God, the dignity of all people, and is loved by 1.8 billion today.
وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ
And indeed, you are of a great moral character.

An Ordinary Beginning
Born in Mecca in 570 CE, orphaned young, he never learned to read or write. Even before his prophethood his people called him Al-Amin — the Trustworthy. At forty, in a cave outside the city, he received the first words of revelation, and his life — and history — was never the same.
A Message, Not a Kingdom
He did not seek wealth or power; he was offered both to stay silent and refused. He taught the worship of one God, the dignity of the poor, the rights of women, orphans and slaves, and accountability before the Day of Judgment. He lived simply, mended his own clothes, and sat among the lowest of society.
Why the Love Endures
Muslims do not worship him — they love him as the final Messenger and the finest example of a human being. Friends and former enemies described his honesty, mercy and patience. That love, unbroken across fourteen centuries, is itself part of his legacy.
Study his life honestly, and the hardest thing to explain is how one unlettered man in the desert could be so quietly, completely good.
