What Is Paradise?
لَهُمْ مَّا يَشَآءُونَ فِيهَا
They will have whatever they wish therein. (Quran 50:35)

What is Paradise in Islam? Jannah is eternal life without loss or fear — and above all its gardens, the promise of seeing God Himself.

Gardens Beneath Which Rivers Flow
The Quran describes Paradise — Jannah — with images of cool shade, flowing rivers, abundant fruit, and reunion with those we loved. But these are gentle pictures of something the human mind cannot fully hold: a place where there is no fear, no loss, no aging, no goodbye.
The Greatest Reward
Above every pleasure of Paradise, the believers are promised something greater still — to see the face of God, and to hear Him say, 'I am pleased with you.' For the lover of God, this is the whole point; the gardens are merely the setting.
Not Earned, but Given
No one enters Paradise by their deeds alone — even a lifetime of worship cannot purchase eternity. It is entered by God's mercy, which He extends to those who strive sincerely and never give up hope, however many times they have stumbled.
Whatever your most beautiful memory — Paradise is the promise that it was only a rumor of what is coming.
