What Is the Day of Judgment?
يَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُّحْضَرًا
The Day every soul will find what it did of good present before it. (Quran 3:30)

What is the Day of Judgment in Islam? Every soul raised and weighed, nothing lost — perfect justice for the wronged, and mercy that outweighs the scales.
فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُۥ
So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it.

The Great Equalizer
On the Day of Judgment, every human who ever lived will be raised and gathered — kings beside servants, the famous beside the forgotten. Wealth, status and excuses fall away. Each person stands alone before God, with only their record and their deeds.
Nothing Is Lost
The Quran says not even an atom's weight of good or evil will be overlooked. The kindness no one noticed, the cruelty no one caught — all of it is preserved. For the wronged, this is the ultimate justice; for everyone, it is a reason to weigh each choice with care.
Mercy at the Scales
Yet the Day is not only dread. God's mercy meets the scales: a single good deed may be multiplied many times over, and sincere repentance can erase a mountain of wrong. The believer approaches that Day with both fear and hope — and hope, the Prophet ﷺ taught, should win.
Live as though every deed is being written — because Islam says it is, and one day you will read the book yourself.
